Since our culture is becoming so chaotic and lawless, I think people will appreciate a writer reminding them with scriptures proving God is Love and He loves us. To purchase book: Click here!
Celebrate the magic of Christmas with 'A Special Christmas Story,' a delightful read that evokes the spirit of generosity and goodwill.
This is a true story of a hurricane making landfall which included the hospital I was working in at the time. I do not declare it as a true story since I added a lot of false events to make the story more interesting. However, the story is more true than fiction. The most interesting parts are true.
This is my story of what can happen to a highly successful life when a President of the United States does not make the right decisions regarding US policies. While my life was being destroyed by high inflation and interest rates, I worked as a registered nurse in hospitals during a very severe nursing shortage. My salvation was faith in God.
Do you have an addict in your life that you are helping, but they seem to be spiraling further down into their addiction? Do you wonder why? Enablers have a hard time seeing how “helping” an addict can be a harmful form of behavior. Enablers are usually kind-hearted people who allow themselves to be taken advantage of when they see someone in trouble. For whatever reason, an enabler needs to be needed and an addict needs an enabler to take care of them, creating a co-dependency relationship. Helping an addict is harmful if it keeps them from suffering the consequences of their addiction and keeps them from taking responsibility for their choices in life. Helping an addict to face up to their addiction and get professional help is good, but providing shelter, food, and making excuses for them when they are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves is called “enabling.” This book has medical information explaining the process of addiction, descriptions of addicts and enablers, plus some "true stories" of both addicts and enablers. These stories will help an "enabler" to fulling recognize how "helping" an addict can be detrimental to their overcoming their addiction.
The author has attempted to show in short stories, set in today's "woke world", how relevant these commandments are today to guide someone in the right direction if they are to achieve happiness.
This is a story of a black man, a lawyer, who was a very committed Christian, a Deacon in a church, who made some very bad decisions in order to salvage his hard earned successful life. After one bad decision, it caused him to make another, and then another until it was like dominoes falling. It has a surprise ending. What would you do if you were in his shoes?
This is a story about my best friend who came down with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 50 y.o. The author tells how her husband took care of her for nearly 20 years and she died at home. The author points out how her husband dealt with the hardship after she got bedridden and how people criticized and gossiped about him. He said that was harder to deal with than taking care of his wife. There are some lessons to be learned by reading this book.
THIS BOOK ALSO HAS THE COVER OF ABSOLUTE PROOF THAT GOD REALLY EXISTS. This book was written about a miraculous encounter with God. He really exists! I was sitting at a pastor's wife's kitchen table with another pastor's wife, and my best friend. We were praying hard for God to minister to all of our needs. He personally touched me in such a way, I will never doubt his existence again. The other women were slightly involved in the miracle. It is a must read!
