Although my first husband built many houses, I am particularly proud of the one I built on Dauphin Island which is located outside Mobile, Alabama.  Why?  Because I built it by myself with the help of some subcontractors.  After my first husband's death, I had to move.  I sold our house.  I decided to build a house on an island located on the Gulf of Mexico.  I wanted my children to enjoy the beach when they visited me.
